Hello Everybuddy! Today my Mom, Dad and Sissy went for a walk along the
Alpine Pedal Path. Normally my dad and I like to go hiking along the dirt trails but today we had to stay on a paved path because my Sissy is in a wheelchair.
I love walking with my Sissy. See how I like to walk alongside her big stroller?
Oh no... I hope we don't see any bears today!
AHHH! A BEAR!!! Hehehe... did I scare you? This isn't a real bear. It's a bear statue in front of the
Big Bear Discovery Center.
Here's my nemesis... the dark, scary tunnel! I am terrified of tunnels... please Dad, don't make me go through it!
Oh, this is sooo embarrassing. My Dad had to carry me through the tunnel because I refused to walk through on my own. I hope my doggie friends don't think less of me now...
My Dad praised me for being a brave boy after we made it through the tunnel.
We took a short break because my Mom wanted to take pictures of the lake. We still have a little bit of snow on our mountains but the ski resorts are closed now.
See how I'm leaning against my Sissy? I am very protective of her!
Time to go home... I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

Hello Trooper! I saw you around and thought I would come say hello and I am sure glad I did!! You are one handsome guy! And funny too! trying to scare me with that bear! Jeesh! I sure am glad that your sissy got to go on the walkie with you. I bet it made her really happy! mmm fear of tunnels huh? I'm afraid of pretty much everything, but I don't think tunnels are on the list. I love my agility tunnel, but I don't think I've seen one that BIG!

You're a good boy Trooper. I'm real proud of you for taking such good care of Sissy! Don't worry about being afraid of that tunnel, you got the important stuff down...besides, you gotta give your Dad something important to do!

Thank you for sharing your walk, and I do not blame you for being skiddish around that tunnel it looked very scary. Oh and there will be something small coming your way to prevent any future humiliation.=) you will understand when you get it. until then I will keep you in suspense. =)
