Hello Everybuddy! Today my dad and I went on a 12-mile round trip hike to a place called Fish Creek.

Can you see the snow in the background? It was still deep in some spots.

We stopped for lunch at a place with lots of logs stacked up in a circle. Here I am standing guard while dad fixes our lunch.

My dad stashed our gear on top of the logs. If you enlarge the picture you can see our cooking pot on top of the rocks.

I take my guarding duties very seriously. I have to make sure that no bears sneak up on us!

Everything is all clear. I didn't see any bears or lions.

Dad calls this my Rin Tin Tin pose...

I think dad needs to practice using the zoom lens more. "Hey dad... I'm over here!" Geesh, I look like a black speck in this picture.

It was getting late and dad said it was time to head back down the mountain. We had a very fun day!

XOXO Trooper

Hi! I have been hearing a lot about you over at Bruce's Paws Blog and had to come and meet you.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome place to wander about. I enjoyed reading all about the different adventures you've been on. The tunnel...LOL! I hope you recovered from that carrying bit (tunnels can be very scary, I know).
What a great hike, what did you get to eat? I would be exhausted.

I would be a good guard because I would BARK if I saw a bear or a lion. But I might need you to save me because I'm more BARK then BiTE! BOL
