Hi Everybuddy! Today my dad and I went on a very long (23 mile round trip) hike to the top of
Mt. San Gorgonio. San Gorgonio is the highest peak in Southern California with an elevation of 11,499 ft. We met some nice hikers on top of the mountain and they took pictures of me and my dad.

I'm king of the mountain! I love climbing over the rocks...
I kept exploring while my dad fixed our lunch...
Now I'm getting ready to lie down and take a rest...
We discovered this neat box on top of the mountain. It's filled with notebooks where you can sign your name. I wanted to leave my paw print but we didn't have an ink pad. Oh well... I'll leave my pawtograph next time!
There were lots of colorful flags flying on the summit...
Yippee! Snow!
I hope you had fun climbing to the top of San Gorgonio with me and my dad. Phew... I'm pooped. Good night everybuddy!

ReplyDeleteTrooper that looks like a reely fun hike! My Mummy is looking at pitchers of mountens online and I thinks she is thinking bout a trip!! But I does not think she will be taking me. We does not have mountens where I live so this place must be far aways like mebbe where you live.

Trooper. That looks like a great hike! When my mom used to live in Tahoe she climbed the 3 peaks around the lake that are over 10,000 feet!
